Birthday makeup!

Hi everyone!

Sorry I haven't made a post in a little while, but hopefully this will make up for it. 

Its my birthday today (I know on Halloween haha)  and my mum gave me some money this year, we went to Merry Hill to go shopping and I thought I would show you some of the makeup I brought, I also brought a few clothes and bits n' bobs, so if you want to see that then let me know. 

So the first thing I brought was the MUA 'Undressed' Palette.

Iv been wanting this for a little while now and im so happy I got it!

Apparently its like the Naked palette by Urban Decay.

(So this is no order now)

I brought a Revlon eye shadow palette with 4 shades in and I was so happy about getting this because iv been looking at this for a little while now. 

I also got a 'Collection'  Eye shadow stick and a Felt tip liner. 

 I ended up caving in for the Kate Moss Lipstick in 107

I also got 3 blushes from 'Sleek' which I was supper happy about, one of the blushes comes with 3 in and its gorgeous! 

Then I got 2 packs of the real technique brushes! 

I also got 2 sleek eye shadow palettes which are lovely

I was so happy about finding this 'Beauty UK' blusher, its really pretty and its a baked blush as well so there's a mix of different colours in this blush.

I also got a new foundation, bronzer and concealer.

UPDATE!

Hi everyone! 

So today is just a short post telling you a bit of an update and what's going on with my life at the moment! 

Firstly I apologise for not writing a blog post for a while, iv been so busy and that's why I wanted to make this post! So, Just to let you know im still going to be making videos (on YouTube) and doing blog posts as usual but they may not be as regular. This is because I have just started my first year of college, some of you may know that school finished for me this year so it was a scary experience not knowing what to expect going to college, but im pretty much over that now. Iv just finished my second week at college and really exited for the future. If any of you were wondering what course im taking, I thought I might as well include that in. I'm currently on a Hairdressing Diploma Level 2 course, I may go on to a Beauty course after this but im still not sure what I want to do yet. 

I go to college 3 days a week. That might not seem that much and your probably thinking wow that's way better than school and what are you busy doing? Well the days I am going to college, are very very long days. I have to wake up at quarter to 7 (am) and then I get home at quarter to 6 (pm) so as you can tell after working really hard for a long time (compared to school) I would be very tired, which I am! On Thursdays and Fridays I don't go to college, so I plan on spending time making a video or writing a blog post on one of them days. This wont be a strict schedule but I still want to continue on my blog and YouTube channel. 

I also would like it if you had any requests of any blog posts or even video ideas you'd like to read/watch then make sure to comment below so I can add to my list of ideas! 

I hope this kind of cleared up why I haven't been posting as often, and I hope you understand why also. 

I love making posts for my blog and I promise to make a new post at least every 2 weeks! (I will give it my best shot)

August Favourites 2013

Hi everyone, im back!!!!! 

So for today's post I thought I would tell you my August Favourites!<3

I guess ill jump right into it!

MAKEUPPP!!

Starting off with makeup, Iv been loving a fair bit of MUA products this month, so I thought I would chuck it all in!

Firstly iv loved one of their single matt eye shadows in 'shade 19'

I prefer matt to shimmer but can hardly ever find matt eye shadows, so when I found this eye shadow I was over the moon! This is a lovely brown shade. MUA products have such good pigmentation, its great! And guess what? There only £1. I would totally recommend you trying this out if you like matt eye shadows or if you want/like to try out a new brand or new products!

For the last two MUA products im going to talk about today are the amazing £1 lipsticks!!! 

I have a range of their lipsticks but these two have stood out to me this month. Shade 16 & 3. 

Firstly MUA lipsticks are such great quality. I get REALLY dry lips and with most lipsticks I have to put a lip balm underneath, but with MUA lipsticks I can just put on the lipstick without having to worry about my lips looking really dry and cracked. I love the moister this lipsticks give off. I would totally recommend these to anyone. (I even prefer these to MAC lipsticks, oops!)

*Just to let you know, just because I have had great experiences with this brand I cant promise you anything, im just telling you what I love*

In general I love MUA and will carry on buying all of there products. I think the brand is pretty underrated which I have no idea why, but please go try this amazing brand! 

I LOVE IT!

Anyway on to the rest of the products iv loved! 

Next up is the Collection Cream Puff in 'Cotton Candy 1'

These are a dupe for the 'NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams'

So this product had to be mentioned in my favourites because iv been using it loads this month. I love the shade of this lip product very much!

When you apply it, it goes on like a lip gloss but it dries matt. 

The only thing I don't like this product is because it does tend to dry my lips out like crazy! 

But I had to include this baby in, they are definitely worth trying out.

Next is two brushes from Real Technique!

Oh my goodness, I cant rave about these brushes enough to you people!!

These are such good quality brushes and I recommend them to so many people!

The two I have been loving this month are the 'Expert face brush' & 'Blush brush'

The Expert face brush I use to blend out my foundation, and it works perfectly. A few people have said they have noticed it gives a streaky look when they've applied there foundation with it. I have not noticed this with my foundation, all I know is I love this brush very much!!

I use the blush brush for anything really powder, blush, contour, bronzer etc.. 

Its a very useful brush, and I love it very much indeed!

NAILLLL TIMEEE!!!<3

This month iv been loving these imPRESS nail stick on things. I get mine from Superdrug. 

They are very expensive but I really like them a lot. 

I have mine in Totally busted, which is a bright neon orange!!

Crazy I know!

But anyway iv been wearing them for a while now and there still on so im very happy with it so far :)

HAIR!!

So iv been loving two things for my hair this month. 

Firstly I brought a Doughnut ring thing, which creates a bun and iv absolutely been loving it, iv been wearing it on messy hair days or when im being lazy and cant be bothered to style my hair! Which to be honest is most days! 

Lastly is a VO5 product, and its the 'Give me texture, Instant OOMPH powder'

Iv been loving this stuff to create a lot of volume in my hair on those curly wavy days, when my hairs looking pretty natural. It just gives a little bit more texture and OOMPH I guess!

I love it!!

RANDOM!!

So I only have one random favourite but I thought I would include it!

Have a guess????? 

Its MACAROONS!!!!! 

I think iv fallen in love, these are the best things invented.

My favourite is definitely the chocolate flavour. 

But in general I love them all! 

So that includes everything iv loved this month, hopefully that wasn't to boring for you. Make sure you try out some of the MUA products I talked about!

TOP 10 LIP PRODUCTS.

Hi everyone!!

Its been a little why since I last posted, sorry about that but im back now! 

Today im going to be talking to you about my 10 Top Lip Products. 

But as I promised I was going to do a review for my next blog post so I thought I would do a quick review for each one of the lip products! 

Hows that sound? 

Hopefully gooood!

(IN NO ORDER)

1. Maybelline Baby lips - CHERRY ME

2. Maybelline Baby lips - PINK PUNCH

3. Maybelline Baby lips - HYDRATE

So as you can tell I have got 3 of the baby lips in my top 10 lip products which means there pretty good! My favourite is 'CHERRY ME' I love it so much its got a gorgeous shine to it like the rest of them have, Its a lovely sheer pinky red. I wear it most days at the moment. For 'PINK PUNCH' I'm not as keen on this one but I still wanted to put it in my top 10 because I like the way it looks when I don't put to much on! It looks really nice, its a nice bright pinky colour.

As for the 'HYDRATE' baby lips, I love it! These lip balms are very moisturising and I don't always want something that's tinted. For example, when I go to bed I put this one on because its moisturising but not tinted! Iv just rambled on there so I'm hoping that makes some sense!

4. Collection Cream puffs - Fairy cake 3

5. Collection Cream puffs - Cotton candy 1

These should be talked about way more, there very good products. There kind of like liquid lipsticks? They go on the lips creamy and then they dry with a matt finish. I really like the two colours of these, 'Fairy cake' is more peachy pink and 'Cotton candy' is more like a purple plummy colour. 

I really recommend these. 

6. MUA Lipstick - Shade 13

MUA products are so underrated, its unreal how much I love MUA products. 

This is one of my favourite things from MUA just because there so moisturising and they don't dry out your lips at all! 

These are £1 and MAC lipsticks are £15, I personally prefer MUA lipsticks, MAC completely dry out my lips. MUA have a great colour range also. I have the shade 13 and I love it, its a bright, BRIGHT red. Its amazing!!

7. Rimmel Kate Moss - Shade 01

This is one of my favourite lipsticks to wear everyday even though its a bright lipstick, I sheer it out and I love it! 

Its very very moisturising to the lips and I don't have to put a lip balm underneath it like I do with MAC lipsticks. 

The colour is another red but its more deep then the MUA one. I love it very much and I really recommend these lipsticks.

8. Revlon Lip Butter - Tutti Frutti

I'm very late on these lip products, I only got mine recently but I'm currently really liking it! I love the texture of this and the colour, it looks really orange but its so sheer and I love that about it. 

I don't have as much to say about this one because I haven't tried it out as much as I have the others, but I wanted to include it because I am loving it, and noticed im wearing it a lot!

9. Rimmel Lipstick - Nude pink 

This is the only pale nude I have in here because im not really that into nude colours for my lips, mainly because im very pale so it looks a bit silly on me. 

This one doesn't make me look washed out at all, so that's what I love and its moisturising so that's a plus for me!

10. Clinique lipstick - Blushing nude 

So this one is another amazing lipstick obviously!!

This colour is a nude but more of a brown nude so very similar to your natural lip colour. 'A better colour of your lips' 

I love this for an everyday look because its so natural and you cant tell iv got lipstick on. So im very happy I have this. 

I was lucky enough to get given this from my nan because she never wore it, and im so glad she gave it to me instead of chucking it away, its so lovely and moisturising, I know iv said that about most of these but they all are honestly.

Small Haul

Hi everyone!

Today I went out with my mum, we went into Claire's and Boots.

I thought I would show you what I ended up buying!

I know I said in my last post I would be reviewing something, but I haven't got round to that yet, but make sure to keep an eye out for that!

I went into Claire's because I wanted to get some hair accessories, I haven't been in there for ages and kind of forgotten how expensive it is but anyway I picked up a few things!

Firstly I got 2 hair bows. The first one is white lace, I think its gorgeous! I also picked up a white spotty one. 

Black & White spotty.

White lace.

One of the main things on my list was a 'Doughnut'

Which is basically a 'Sock Bun' You create buns with it and its super easy to put on iv already worn it today!

I brought a colour that was closest to my blonde hair.

Next I picked up was some clear elastics, I wanted these for things like plaiting etc..

Lastly I brought a 'Bun headband'

Basically you tie this around your bun and it makes it look a bit more pretty!

So that's it for Claire's, but now on to boots!

I only went in there today to pick up the 'Baby lips' lip balms. 

Iv been waiting for these to come out to the UK for months!! 

I'm so happy they've finally came out into boots stores, and I really cant wait to use them. 

I have already tried both of them and they stay on for ages! There are some that are tinted and some that are just clear, I got 2 tinted ones. 

I picked up 'PINK PUNCH' & 'CHERRY ME'

So far I very much prefer 'CHERRY ME' it suits me better. 

So that's everything I ended up buying today, I know it was very small but I wanted to share it with you!

OOTD

Hi everyone! 

Today's post is probably going to be pretty short but I really wanted to show you my outfit I wore the other day.

So because its been really hot in the UK recently iv been wearing skirts and dresses most days, which I love because I love to be girly! 

 I wore a denim skirt with gold studs on, I tucked in a lovely white printed top which has famous places on! 

For shoes I kept it casual and comfy and went for my lovely Converse!

I love them so much, they are grey and pink.

Favourite Nail Polish

Hi everyone! 

So today im going to be showing you some of my favourite nail polishes.
I thought i would do this because I love spending the time painting my nails, and I have a few colours that I love. Iv picked out my favourites but if you want to see the rest of my collection let me know!

Pastel nail polishes are my favourite and I actually only have a couple which is mainly because the nail polishes I have are given to me for like a Christmas present by family member. The few nail polishes I buy myself are normally pastels. 

So I have an Essie nail polish in the shade 'Turquoise and ciaos' I love this colour its a minty green. 

This is my only Essie polish because they are very expensive but I plan to get more because there so long lasting!

Here is a picture of the nail polish, its gorgeous! This was £7.99 when I got it!

Next is another pastel colour from Models own, in the shade 'Blueberry Muffin' 

This is a gorgeous pastel blue, I love this and its one of the scented nail polishes they do. Its a very sweet smell, but its actually quite nice. 

The smell lasts for quite a while and the polish doesn't chip very quickly!

I recommend Models own nail polishes so much there so easy to glide on the nail!

Here is a quick pic! 

Next is a Nails Inc polish ( This does not have a name or number for the colour ) This polish is a bright orange and its gorgeous. Its very scary looking if your not very used to wearing neon polishes!

But its a nice way to wear colour if your not used to wearing bright colours in fashion or makeup. 

I wear this quite a lot and its lasted so well. It does not chip for at least 3 days. Remember this is for my nails, so if you get this and it doesn't last as long then im guessing we have different nail types or something!

Here is the gorgeous colour!

Lastly is a gorgeous pale pink colour which is lovely for an every day basis! 

It doesn't actually have a brand name or colour etc. on the bottle so I have no idea where this came from! But im sure you can find a similar colour because its so simple!

This is beautiful for everyday because its so sheer, and its perfect for people at school that aren't aloud to wear nail polish but don't want to wear clear because its just a little something extra!

As you can see this is very well loved, I have hardly any left! 

I recommend a colour like this to anybody. 

So that's it, they are my favourite nail polishes!

My Everyday Makeup Routine!

Hi everyone!

So today im going to be talking to you about what makeup items I use everyday.

Lets get started, woop woop!!!

FACE: 

- Foundation -

So for foundation I have 3 different favourites which you would know if you read my first post! 

I either use MAC Studio Fix Fluid, Rimmel Match Perfection or MUA Undress your skin.

I love all three foundations very much. I use my MAC one if I want high coverage, my Rimmel one if I dont want to much but still medium coverage and the MUA foundation is more like BB cream because its that sheer. Because my skin is so pale I always struggle to find a perfect foundation match but these three seem to be pretty close. MAC in shade NC15, Rimmel in shade 010 Light Porcelain and MUA in shade Porcelain. 

I use my Real Technique 'Buffing' Brush to blend in all foundations, its a brilliant brush for this use and lots of other uses as well! ( I will be doing a Real Technique brush review soon )

Here is a picture of everything I just talked about. 

 - CONCEALER -

For concealer I use my Collection Lasting perfection in Fair 1. 

( The make used to be called 'Collection 200 ) 

I absolutely love this concealer, iv been using it over a year now and its so great for covering up blemishes or even just covering up dark circles under your eyes. I cant really explain how much I love this but put it this way, I sometimes just wear it on its own. No foundation. Just a bit of this under my eyes around my nose and on my chin! I then blend my concealer in with my fingers or I use my Real Technique 'Contour' Brush. 

So I give this a 5/5 and i really recommend it to anyone! 

Please at least try it out, its at such a good price as well.

- Blush, Bronzer & Highlight - 

So for blusher I normally use my Beauty UK Blusher, this doesn't actually have a name or a number for the colour. 

Anyway, this is such a good blusher it has 5 colours in one little pot! 

I like mixing all of them together to create such a beautiful colour. Its a little bit shimmery too. 

For Bronzer I always use Nars Laguna! 

I love this bronzer its always been my favourite, I don't love the price of it though! Its very expensive but its really worth it. I apply blush, bronzer and highlighter with the same brush, I use a fluffy angled brush. 

Now for highlighter, I love to use my MAC Mineralize Skin Finish in soft and gentle! 

This is such a great product, it gives such a good finish and I love it. It is a bit on the expensive side but I think its well worth it, it gives you such a pretty glow!

- Powder - 

So lastly for face I apply my all time favourite powder from Accessorize which is a make from Superdrug. 

This is great for me because like I said before I have such pale skin I need something that's fair! 

This is a perfect match for me and it also gives such a lovely matt finish. 

I put this in the centre of my face because that's where I need and want it. 

I'm going to put a picture here now.

The packaging is gorgeous also! This is the brush I use to apply it, I brought a pack of brushes of eBay and this was one of them! 

EYES: 

- MASCARA -

For my eyelashes I like to curl them first with my curlers ( I don't know the make of these )

Then I use my all time favourite mascara from No7. 

Its called Extreme length extend. It does what it says, it gives such great length which is what I need for my lashes! 

Please give this a go, its sooo good.

- EYE SHADOW -

I use cream eye shadows for everyday because I feel like its quicker and easier to apply. 

I use my MAC paint pot in 'Painterly' I put this all over my lid, and then I put my Maybeline colour tattoo in shade 'On and on bronze' in the crease and outer corner. 

I then just blend it out with my fingers. 

- Eyeliner - 

I have used Gel eye liner for so long now, I prefer it way more than any other eye liner formulas!

I started of using my collection Gel eye liner, but then I found a Maybeline one which is so good! I love it so much!

If your looking for a good Gel eye liner I would recommend it so much!

I apply my eye liner with a angled brush or a pointy brush.

LIPS:

- Lip balm - 

At the moment iv been using a reallly good lip balm from the make dermaV10.

Its so moistersing on the lips, I love it. I always let it sink in before I put any lip colour on. 

- Lipstick - 

The lipstick I use everyday is a Kate moss one from Rimmel. 

Its in the shade 01.

I love putting this in the middle of my lips and blending it out. 

Its a gorgeous deep red but you can wear it more sheer if you do what I do!

It doesn't dry out the lips at all! 

I really recommend it!
